thank you for the comments. the CCKW kinda is the father to all tacticle cargo trucks. During WWII George S. Patton stated"The 2 1/2-ton truck is our most valuable weapon." in referring to the CCKW. Eisenhower is often quoted saying " without the CCKW we could not have won the war"...- SETOYOTA

She will cruise around 40mph. They are great fun to drive. Its actually the only large truck I know of that seems smaller than it is while going down the road. The steering is very easy. Seems almost like power steering .- SETOYOTA

Finally after owning the truck for about a year I have found the time to get my CCKW on the road. I had to put new tires on and fix a few issues. A good friend rebuilt the carb and now it runs great. Changed the oil today and had a chance to drive her several miles. The truck was brought back...- SETOYOTA
