    I probably have 10 serious hobbies in the rotation. Some if them I suck at but enjoy, some I am very good at on a competitive level; either way I get bored of all of them if I don't change things up every few weeks. I'll work on one until I complete a large project, or until I get bored...

    Meh.... Big deal, your main seal leaks. It's an old truck, I like to think of it as auto rust control. Mine leaves a silver dollar sized spot every time I turn it off, which amounts to a little over a quart a month. When it gets to a quart a week I'll think about changing it.
