    About the only real weakness you listed is the requirement of a PTO. A hyd system is no more difficult to plumb than an electric winch is to wire. Hyd is the most versatile system. You said it is a big winch. How big is big? If it's a 10,000 or 20,000lb winch you're going to have trouble...
