    There may be a punch out covering the slot where you access the star wheel, unless someone punched it out before.

    No clip, but it is possible that the brake shoes may have worn into the drum so that there is a ridge along the edge making it impossible to pull the drum off. If all else fails, turn the star adjuster to retract the shoes. You may have to punch out the metal tab to get to the adjuster.
