The arches and holes, on the verticals, actually add strength to the support member, so yes they will stay on the production models. Vinny, Not worried about tree branches... big limbs! Of course thats an issue with anything roof mounted. Tire Bracket and Jerrycan carriers should be attached for review next week. Rikki- rikkitikkitavi
