Here's a green led that i found. I like it.

have u installed these? how well do they work? pics would be awesome but they tend to be a major league fail for this purpose. i found some leds for this purpose but quickly went back to my old bulbs cuz the beam was to narrow and made my gauges a dim gray. so im eager to see your results!

If ya backspace it, ya get alot more "ambient" lighting

Yep. Ya gotta backspace ur sockets by 1/8-1/4". I used 2 #8nuts for quick n easy. Other option is to stack another gasket

I wasnt being harsh just sharing what i saw. I figure someone else may get excited about another clear source. I like the blue indicators for sure

they have red and blue. i dont see clear.

i have blue indicators over my high beam. thats nice. when i look down, gauges are clear, high beam is blue and front axle in open faced red so its pretty bright.

ahh yeah i guess that slipped my mind when i search for things, i often search m998 too because somethings interchange... like clear caps

i use clear caps. no prob seein the gauges and even some in the cab. doesnt blind me at all. better than trying to tape a light strip up. readily available new.
