Had a great time at the cookout. I had a little mechanical issue on the there, but no problem on the way home. Loved checking out the trucks and meeting everyone in person.
Thanks Zout and Zout2 for having us over.
Ok, soaked in sweat and smell like a refinery now, but the fuel leak is stopped. Its a temp fix but not too bad for the home depot parking lot with two crescent wrenches.
We're getting cleaned up at Arby's and grabbing a quick lite bite for the road. Remind me not to stand to close to open...
My danged flame heater is leaking fuel on my turbo and making smoke. I gotta fix that so we're delayed a bit. I need to just put plugs in the feed and return so it shouldn't take long. I just have to make it to Lowes-Depot and figure out what size plugs I need.
Looks like wet weather for the cookout. I'm bringing my frog togs and a couple of canopies to add to whatever other rain protection as might be there. I hope my windshield wipers keep working!
I've got a couple of arms left over from experimenting with various "fixes" for my wipers. I'll put them in the truck in the morning so I won't forget them on Saturday. You're welcome to them.
I've got the cookout on my calendar. There's some talk of me being needed to lead a group of FJ Cruisers over at Durhamtown that same weekend but it is not nailed down yet. I'll be at the cookout if I possibly can. Is the cookout a rain or shine event?
