    Winch Shear Pin Fabrication

    Ditto on what Ken is saying.... The pin size is about .300 to large for 1/4 but to small for 5/16 and the pins I have are made with a slight taper. The idea was to keep bolts from being used in place of shear pins. As for the material im guessing by my own fiddling with turning a pin and testing...
