Disassemble tha lunette fron the surge system. Cut the ring off square in front of the pin. Purchase an adjustable channel and lunette or ball mount Have a professional welder weld the channel to the 1102 lunette mount leaving the most holes on the lower side. Mount the new lunette or ball and tow.

Most auto recycling yards should have the 16" 8 x 6.5 bolt pattern you need. The newer GM wheels have a deeper back space than the older wheels. I would try SUMMITRACING.COM they should have black soft 8 rims cheap too. They could be painted to match the trailer.

Someone probably sells hub adapters for it. 8 x 6.5 to Rover pattern.

If the tires are E rated there should be no problem. I run the same wheels on my 2500 HD crew cab and they hold the load just fine. Good luck and post your results.

Switch the wheels out and lower it down. They look good with 5 spoke 2000-2009 GM five spoke rims. 16" e rated tires are plentyful. chrome for bling or paint them to match the trailer.

Cut the hitch and weld on an adjustible channel.

Play it safe and get a couple quick links and a 3' section of 5/16 or 3/8 chain. DO NOT chain to the receiver chain to the vehicle hitch. Safety first!
