    IIRC, it called for wire rope. Winch cable. The factory winch has 1/2 so I'd assume that would work. You can also use budd thimbles and add extra rims to the front and use as winch drums. Take a smart phone when you get stuck. The collective bunch here have gotten many a truck freed up...

    More hi-lifts, more come-alongs, lots of cribbing, a 12 Ton bottle jack and a friend with a deuce or 5 ton, preferably a wrecker.
