    Case closed. Canister was bad after all. I replaced it and it great. All I can think is the last owner damaged the canister and must have worked his rear off getting it to seat.

    Roger all...I'm telling you though one filter canister is smaller, not by much...1/2 inch maybe. I will send a pic with a tape next to it tomorrow. The rod down the center is bent a little. did my best to pull it back to dead center. But this shouldn't be an issue, the nut should pull it...

    Yeah thanks man...I didn't let it rotate. But you mentioned a bottom bolt. I have a single bolt from the top. My canisters have a rod down the center from the bottom up top with maybe 1 inch thread.

    It's not seating correctly. I'm thinking I need to replace the canister. But it wasn't leaking before.

    Without doubt. Like I said it's just the one canister. The one that's a hair smaller in length. I'm lost. Never had an issue like this I can recall.

    I did. Had it in and out several times checking it was seated right I'm truly lost. Unless that canister is bent a little???

    So I decided to service this 465 multifuel. Changed the oil no prob with napa filters. Did the research and bought both napa gold 3512 fuel filters. I do not understand why one canister is leaking. I replaced the seal. I was looking at it and it seems to be a shade smaller the the other filter...
