Once the dust settles, I'll see about tweaking things a bit. I just need to be careful on the "limits" I configure. If everyone starts uploading dozens of 4mb files at the same time, we'll see a performance hit on the server.

:shock: That's a lot of data per image to upload. Have you tried resizing them before upload? I resize before upload just to save time since the site crops down the image after upload.

Ok, same image, one reduced in size, the other raw. No problem uploading. (Site crops image smaller after upload)

I see three people now have reported this issue. How large of a file have you tried to upload?
