I thought of that too, but according to the above linked diagram, it has its own oil pump. That leads me to believe it is a self contained oil system.

Now that it works and I looked at it close enough to realize it has no engine supplied oiling. How the heck do I check, add, drain oil on this compressor? I don't won't to burn it up. Sorry for being such a "tech leach." Thanks.

Accoridng to the above linked diagram, the big nuts cover the discharge valves. I pulled them off tonght. The forward one had a broken spring. I shimed the rest of the spring with some washers and tried to put it together. I don't think those caps are supposed to be...
I took some pictures and tried the oil in the intake trick last night. The oil didn't make any difference, but here are the pictures so you guys know what I am talking about.
