Restoration is now 99% complete. While the truck was apart we put a NEW speedometer cable in as mentioned earlier in this thread. Last week I drove it out my 1/2 mile lane and the speedometer was still bouncing all over the place. So, put in a NEW speedometer and the same thing. Nothing left... -

Got it! Had the wife slowley turn the inner cable from the speedo end while I aligned it. When it matched the keyway, it went right in. -

Starting the re-assembly of the truck after restoring all the parts. First up is the wiring (done) and the speedometer cable. I tried for over an hour to align the new spedo cable to the transfer case. If you ever did this you know it is a round end with with a keyway at the transfer. You...
