    M101A3 VIN Number

    If these were some of the hundreds being sold off the Yermo Annex next to Barstow, Ca then all of the recent ones were Marine Corp units. If so see my post above. All the ones I looked at used the stenciled USMC and then the numbers stenciled on the sides and tail gate as part of the " VIN"...

    This checks with the three trailers I got from the Marine Annex at Yermo Ca. All the data plates were in poor shape but readable in my case; but I did not bid if the photos showed them missing. Since I own 8 of these trailers, I have seen the VIN (serial number) information format varies widely...
