    Thanks Jones for the clarification on these tools. I'll keep leaning towards the Ideal/Buchannan unit.

    From my reasearch, the Daniels tool is an eight-point crimp whereas the other tools are four-point. I would like to agree with you...the Ideal/Buchannan should work just fine for my money.

    There is a BIG difference in price between the AF8 and the Ideal/Buchannan unit. Will the Ideal unit be acceptable for MV Douglas connectors?
