Received my LMC headlight harness and Wagoner BL's in the mail a week ago and got them installed on Friday... The (2) hot leads to the harness were a little short so I extended them to reach the battery... Other than that everything else was smooth sailing... Now I can see when I'm driving at...

Got my safari rack mounted... Im taking some 7" HID offroad lights off my 85 Silverado and installing them in front of the ammo boxes... Dont know what to tackle next... some square tube doors or a swing out tire carrier to replace the tailgate... decisions decisions...:-D:-D
Heres some pics of my Humvee seats and Humvee seatbelts... I dont got the best fabrication skills or resources to acclomplish such but I make do with what I have and tend to get the task at hand done most of the time... the pass seat is scooted back as far as it would go and the driver seat is...
I used the original seat brackets so that I could bolt them in to the original location... I bolted them on the outside of the seats (towards the door) and I bolted 1X1 square tubing under each seat and across to tie the whole assembly together... I'll get some pics up in the next couple of days...
Also a mock up on some of the items I might be mounting up top... Im gonna finish cleaning up some welds and will be painting it flat black... I plan on having it done and mounted by this weekend... will post some more pics when mounted...
Started my roof rack on Saturday... take it easy on critiquing my welds... it was seriously my first time welding... my friend helped me on the structural important welds and just let me run loose on the rest... I dont think I did that bad but its together and seems solid...
I cut up some metal to start building my safari/headache rack...gonna go to a buddys shop tomorrow and start welding it together... I'll post pics of the progress later next week...
Been quite busy with switching jobs and everyday life..... but still have been slowly workin on my 1028... Got my Tiny Tach installed.... Took out my dash and door panels and painted them black.... Installed a stereo and some small speakers... And most importantly I added some badges to it to...
Ordered a Tiny Tach and started some wiring for a dome light..... Also gonna start on a stereo install this week so I can jam out while I cruise.....:beer:
Finall got around to doing the resistor bypass and doghead relay mods on my M1028..... Didnt have any issues... she started right up and runs like a champ.... Also wired in a cig lighter plug and started on the wiring for some accessories....:jumpin::jumpin::jumpin::jumpin:
