No problem on the hinges...
In my haste to open the first trailer last year, we almost lost the curb side batwing. Luckily, the front came out first and we were able to guide it back into position and lower the side.
Have fun changing them though!
To anyone out there that comes into...
Just get up on top of the trailer and you will see what I am talking about. You will be able to inspect the hinge material from there.
I was able to source some belted 1/8" material to replace the original stuff.
The original is not belted.
Those hinges are a tedious chore to replace, as there are 2 million bolts in them.
Since the hinges are only rubber, it does not take long for them to begin deteriorating from the sun.
PRIOR to you opening up the sides, inspect the hinges on top!!
(ask me how I know)
Yours appears to be a few serial numbers away from mine. It should have the 27" South Bend "Tunrnado" in it as well.
