    After seeing what Hoefler lifted I don't think I have to worry about the boom cable breaking lifting the front end of the M43.

    M43 in the Air Here are a few pics that shows the clearance the hook has to the grill guard when the M43 is lifted for tow. Its fairly close but won't get any closer. Also I fabricated a towing light bar that basically clamps to the bumperettes do it can used on any vehicle.

    Two of us put the wiffle tree on the ambulance first with no problem. In the picture above the hook has been lowered quite a bit to take the load off the boom. When the load is taken the hook is indeed not far from the ambulance's grill guard. But as it lifted for road travel the distance...

    Had my stepson lift the front end of our M43 so I could pressure wash the underside. I didn't get under it and outriggers were not needed.
