This is the result I am getting so far.
I see all the pins are populated in the connector, but not in the vehicle harness, so I made an inline harness that adds them. So far, the diag software and comm adapter try for a few bytes, then no response and gives up, saying no comm.
I hear all...
Good response using data, thanks. I have not checked my module part number, nor tried the CAN bus termination resistor yet. I will at the beginning of this summer. The comm unit is the one recommended by DANA, which is also on their approved comm module list, please check my earlier posts, as...
Same as the Eaton CTIS phone tech told me. I believe an LMTV CTIS controller could be used on an M939, but button layoit/orientation is flipped if you are mounting it same as original. I have not tried to communicate with an xMTV CTIS module yet.
OK. Let me try the bus termination resistors, I'll check and post my CTIS controller label, and then try the xMTV controller being offered (will quickly return it regardless of result), in about that order.
Not sure exactly the version of CTIS module I have, but all the terminals are present at the connector of it, but not on the vehicle side harness (comm pins missing, 4 if I remember right, check earlier posts in this thread for exact details).
When I downloaded the free diagnostic software...
You rang? Yeah, I downloaded the Dana program, bought the communication adapter they recommended, then fabricated a "T" harness to use it. I could not get it to communicate. I did not (yet) try the bus termination resistors like suggested, which may fix it. It seemed like it was "close" at...
Not much ID on it (no labels like yours). Also I didn't take any other pics than what I posted because I was just removing the internals to have the housing and connector. Sorry, I would have paid more attention otherwise.
Hold tight. I hope to try the termination resistors today. For some reason, I always pick the coldest days to do this stuff outside. Here's a little love for the warmer of folks this morning on the board:
For target pressures, it would work. Real time pressure can only be read during pressure test sequences. The system does not have any air pressure on it before the wheel valves unless checking, filling, or deflating the tires, which is once every 15 minutes when not in run-flat mode. One...
