Re: What have you done to your CUCV today/lately?
Installed new power steering lines. Looked like a walk in the park until I actually got my hands in there. The new lines had a slightly different bend on the hard line part. Nothing that a little tweaking and bending couldn't take care of though.
Re: What have you done to your CUCV today/lately?
I almost forgot, had our metal shop at work cut me a nice aluminum mounting plate for my fuel filter setup.
Re: What have you done to your CUCV today/lately?
Picked up the power steering line going from the gearbox to the hydroboost. Hopefully installing this weekend.
Replaced the push button for my glow plug system. I'm still working on replacing rubber fuel lines and tracking down why I'm having hard starting issues in the morning.
Rear brake inspect, clean and adjust. Everything ok. Inspected front brakes and found out I need to do them soon.
Still can't find my phantom squeeking noise. All my u-joints are tight, none have zerk fittings. I might replace them anyway.
Just picked up a new (to me at least) fuse box harness for the M1009. Also got the fuse kit from cucvelectric.com. I have a busy weekend ahead. Maybe an all night wrenching party?
Replaced the hard top seals with ones from LMC. We'll see if I did a good job or not if it ever decides to rain. Treated some rust spots in the bed with POR15.
