    When I did my m916, I did NOT separate them. Machine shop had no problems turning them as an assembly. I did take them a wheel to measure for clearance. To answer your question, I believe the wheel studs are pressed in & hold them together. It's been awhile since I did them. The 16.00's are...

    Rear = no mods to drums, but I had to remove bevel on inner lug nuts for wheels to sit flush against wheel hubs. Frt has to be machined not only for valve stem clearance but also wheel to sit flush against hubs.

    Hey Soni Thanks for the info on the drums. I did notice my truck has 4 different drums on my truck. 1 style rear axle 2 style other rear axle 3 rt front drum 4 left frt drum Did require different machining for both frt drums to clear hemtt wheels.
