    GM and later GEP added bandaid over bandaid to fix the uneven coolant temps in these engines. The different pumps, dual thermostats, military geared fans vs hydraulic fans all were tried. My favorite is when they finally gave up and over bored only the rear #7 and #8 cylinders so the overheating...
