    That truck is an '84 or '85. "A0"... 16.00's would be just fine in your application. 395's would also be fine. 5th wheel camper doesn't really qualify as "heavy" in the context of these trucks. Those hills on I 25 are going to slow you down no matter what, 395s later than the 16.00's but...

    I have 16.00s on two of my trucks. I like them. But one of the trucks is an M925 with an unmodified NH250 that serves mostly as a toy and not loaded heavy. Even in this usage the loss of low end acceleration was pronounced. The other one is an M818 that has had a turbo added to the NH250...

    Too much loss on low end to consider for a dump truck. I wouldn't.
