I can add an inline filter pretty easy on Scotts second tank, that was one of the reasons we went with the flex line.(which came off of a UH-1N aux fuel cell).

you can ground to the frame, no need to take a ground wire all the way back to the battery from the alternator.
some new pics of what we got done today, need to wire up the 24V transfer pump and install the new fuse block for the 12V, should have it finished up tomorrow.
I'll have the harness ready for the weekend, if anybody else needs some electrical work, stop on by, my in laws will be here this weekend and hate these trucks, so I'm hoping for a packed house....

I have the e brake socket thing taken care of for you, I cut one in half and welded a section of pipe in between, it's now a really really deep well.
That wasn't falling out of the cab and breaking the girlfriends camera, it was a "Combat dismount with ensuing collateral damage"
