    What is wire 348C on the wiring harness?

    348C comes from F on the TCM j1 plug (AC request). The loose end of the wire should just have what looks like a plug in it. It is some kind of electrical diode in the newer trucks. You could also have a 3rd wire with a plug near the horn (258B), and another near the transmission.

    I wouldn't go by that first list pic posted above. Use the HMMWV TM for real wire details. There is a 249C under the alternator, but it has nothing to do with steering or oil temp (as shown on that list). I cant see the numbers in your pics. If it is 349, then it should go to a plug with...
