    I haven't. I'm betting the truck served most of its life with the Seabees. They're the only Navy group that would be laying pipelines that I can think of. When the Seabees got done playing with it, it went to the MIUW. That's my educated guess.

    Haha! That's me! We didn't have any "pipeline construction" trucks in my unit though. Very interesting! MIUW or MESF never constructed any pipelines. I suspect that the truck was simply handed down to them and that they used it for ordinary equipment transport- i.e. tents, cots, ECU's and...
