    I will NEVER understand why the military thinks the new switch is superior. It offers nothing ergonomically, over the original.

    24 is just a number. What will mess with your head is the lack of color-coding and the need to located and clean all the tiny metal tags so that you can identify the wires and circuits. The wiring diagrams are not outstanding but they are adequate if you can get a clear copy of them.
