That works fine. Bring on more of your buddies, why not!?
Beer and TV is all good, but chances are you might help us all raise the intellect bar here a notch or two, and likely that wouldn't hurt anybody none.
Somebody please remember to bring a camera:
- WITH film
Oh, wait; those were the pioneer days, and this is Now.
So what I mean is, please don't forget your phones! :doghead:
You look like you might be relatively new here, Huntress23, and wanted to be sure you got an official hello if you hadn't already, so:
- Welcome from out here in Virginia, the home of Thomas Jefferson.
I know I'm an outsider here, but pitching in my 2cents , I suggest just leave it at:
- Haspin 2015
People who know will understand, and those who don't (and are curious) will ask.
Words are cheap mostly, and they have the greatest effect where used sparingly. These are just the random...
I apologize for not knowing exactly WHAT Haspin Acres is, but is it some kind of commercial trading grounds or something, like an agricultural fairgrounds kind of thing?
That's serious heritage.
What's the sale about? Maybe family dying off? Sad, but that's often what changes it all when the founding generation passes on. Do you know; is that it?
Welcome to Steel Soldiers, HD. Glad you're on-board.
I'm not a part of your area, but I just like knowing what's "going on" (kind of nosey, I guess  )
Do you know the history of Haspin Acres, like who is the owner and why it's for sale?
I wouldn't mind having a SS bumper sticker (or magnetic square or something) to put on my vehicles. Do any of you all know if there's an SS vendor selling anything like that?
Ooops. I thought it was Cabela's, but I ran across it from an operation called Forestry Suppliers (so, www.forestry-suppliers.com, and Search "Reusable Ice").
There's some "reusable ice" product available now that is self-contained (i.e., no leaks), and works as a substitute for dry ice (freezes at 5 degrees F).
Cabela's is one place to get it. If you don't know about it, you might want to check it out.
You'll find some detail here on this catalog...
I wasn't at all meaning that you should feed anybody out of the goodness of your heart!! No Way!
It is figured that the Meal Plan would be "Pay-As-You-Go". EVERYBODY should expect that.
But then I hadn't given it all much thought. I guess it's complicated setting up a pay station/ cash...
