I'm following your lead, frank8003, and packing up to "leave".
Not TOO soon, I hope! But the exit is inevitable. No one gets out alive...
I'm actually excited about it:
- Reducing my "kit" to just the essentials.
It feels Good!
Like floridanson said, "I don't plan on building any bridges either" (funny!).
So the smaller batteries and the smaller 1/2" (2763) likely will handle anything I stumble into.
But Milwaukee constantly "ups" their game (must be a big R&D dept there), so that's why I'm watching right here...
We apologize to you, Jericho, for the drifting:
- You started a great thread here and we all got comfortable with it is all.
Thanks for starting it!
Guessing the bigger batteries fit the smaller impact wrenches, do you know rustystud?
That's the "Acadians" who got thrown out of Canada by the British after the Seven Years War:
- Becoming the "Cajuns" of Louisiana (or at least I think that was it)
Guess we all might be a bunch of lug nuts for drifting like this, so maybe we're still on topic!
Helping a buddy with his home project one day, and he grabs a nice woodworking chisel (REAL nice), he owned where he needed a pry bar...
...didn't say a word.
The battery tools now are practically a "no-brainer". It just makes your life so much easier than all the compressor headaches:
- Size of unit
- Noise
- Accessories (hose, hose-reel, etc)
Milwaukee even has an air-blower that runs off its standard batteries if I remember right, AND if you...
Don't want any drift to get us all keelhauled or anything, so commenting now back on thread:
- Glad to hear what you say Floridanson, because I was always too cheap to buy a good compressor and all the accessroies, and so stuck with my Milwaukee
:mrgreen::jumpin:
Milwaukee's webpage is not very clear in this regard (apples-to-apples comparison of similar model tools).
Just went to search, and there are (at least) 8 models of the 1/2" Impact Wrench:
