Yes. If you look at the battery tray, it is shaped to accommodate 6TLs or Group 31s (one way, the battery tray is wide, and the other narrow).

I was going to say the same thing...Group 31s in a CUCV work well...and they will be cheaper. I bought mine at Tractor Supply a while back.
