This thread seems to be long over...but I thought I'd chime in... I've painted directly over CARC with no ill effects. Rick, are you planning to re-paint the truck, or just touchn up a few spots? For touch ups, the CARC-like Gillespie paints match fairly well. Use Krylon ultra-flat black...
