    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

I do remember the fun many of us had standing there with our hands in our pockets watching you change out tires, twice! Of course, if you had let us help like we all offered, we all could have joined in the fun. If you do the above described test with the front axles on the trailer, you will...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

Not trying to one up you, but I found out when we got back to camp that my 715 was in 2wd the entire time as well. Colton when he was driving put it in low, but not 4x4. Unlock the hubs and crawl under the truck. The front drive shaft should turn with the tcase in 2wd. Lock in a hub. The...

Just part of playing with the trucks. Here is the shot of the M715 high centered since most people were either not there yet or still asleep when I stuck it.

I am Chief 12 flats now. Starting with the 2008 Colorado M715 trip to yesterday. Thanks for the pictures of Colton driving Charles. It was funny to hear him talk about how much fun this was until we went down a pretty steep curvy washout. "You better drive now, you better drive now, you need...

We had a great time as well. I haven't gotten my pictures off the phone yet though. Lost all the wheel studs on the drivers rear tire of the trailer about 20 miles from home. Allen chased down the bouncing wheel while I tried to get stopped and off the road. Since Pistolnut still had my tow...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

There are a lot of "Yes, count me in" types that haven't posted in a long time. We probably won't know the count until it is over. We should have at least 6 or 8 different "family units" at a minimum tonight. Colton's fever broke a little after 2100 last night. He is feeling great now and...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

Colton is still home sick with a fever. It is below 100° at least now. We still plan to be there. Since Scott and White is our doctor, being 5 miles away at the Rally is better than being 60 miles away with him home for the weekend. Out of respect for others though, if he still has a fever...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

Boxcar, Pistolnut and my self should be at the gate between 1800 and 1830 or at least real close to that time. For anybody coming from the Austin area, Boxcar will be whistling his way out of Red Rock around 1600 on FM 20 to 71. Then TX-21. Whichever one of us gets to the road side park on...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

Lincoln, you haven't met Pistolnut yet. His M35A2 we recovered from the other side of SA in 2005. The several dozen layers of paint on the truck left a lead lined cloud in the air as they flaked off the first 100 miles or so. The truck runs great, but still needs some things. The M715 was in...

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

Add Boxcar with a M35A2 and 2 kids to your list. He will be coming out of Bastrop and joining up with me near Manhiem for a Friday evening arrival.

"official" what? You lost me on that one.

    Second Bi-Annual TX MV Rally

I would hope 35 since MV speeds require the shortest distance over faster travel roads. Plus, they would make a pretty long line behind them on 21 coming in from Madisonville. Not that the people in Marlin, Calvert and Hearne won't be inconvienenced when they come down 6. At least most of 6 has...

The place had dogs on it when we got there in March. As long as your dog doesn't lift his leg on me or any of my stuff, I don't mind them. Of course, with kids running around a dog might not be the best thing to have.
