    Forgive my ignorance .. maybe its lost in translation but i'm not sure what you mean by a stud? I can't see anything in the picture that could have a wire connected to it? Is this what you can see? Sorry its upside down .. this attachment feature has a mind of its own when orienting pictures?

    I'm installing my tacho and i just wondered if anyone knew where i can splice into the brwn/wht Gen wire? does it have to be right at the alternator or can I break in right under the dash ... the wiring diagram seems to show it going through a diode?

    Thanks Ordak... Do you have a part number for this and do I need to remove the air filter to get at the pump? when checking it is it enough just to idle the truck and put my finger over the outlet to see if it's sucking? Or does it need to be measured??
