    Are you trying to say that the rear brace won't physically move the 3/8" or so at the top where the generator mounts in order to be positioned behind the mounting tab on the generator? Have you verified that there is nothing physically interfering with the brace as it angles down to the bolt...

    I'm not familiar with the conversion process, but I can tell you that the 200 amp rear bracket part number you list is the older style that goes to a stud on the exhaust. I had terrible luck with mine (sheared the exhaust stud several times) and recommend if you do have to replace that bracket...
