    RE: use of captured equipment I'd suggest taking a look at the prices good GMC CCKW (which is what you have, assuming it is a 6x6) bring before deciding to modify it. A modified truck would be near worthless (mechanical bits tend to be cheap and abundant), while complete restorable trucks...
