    The trailer-roof materiel you're going to epoxy washer/aluminum-stock--- is that sheet metal? If so, why not look into rivets? Even if the materiel is some kind of composite like plastic/ABS/fiberglass, I've seen at Harbor Frieght where they have kits now to rivet that kind of stuff together...
