With the 4K springs I have spun it up to 2900-3000 but there's not enough air up at that range to make any power I would normally run mine to 26-2700 pulling mountains but my egts would get hot quick but i wasn't intercooler.
He got an mrap radiator-intercooler combo on the truck now it helped a lot next is probably an HX-55 turbo, 5 inch exhaust and turn his timing up to about 16 degrees.
I only run mine to about 2700 max if towing or pulling a hill. Normally I just leave it in 1-5 and let it do its thing. The reason I usually go with 4k is because I know it will have full fueling to what ever rpm I run to whether it be 2000 or 2700 I know I will have full power on tap.
I usually don't have to push it to hard so I just normally let it in 1-5 unless pulling grades. You can manually shift it if you want, the highest I ran RPMs so far was 2700. Top speed isn't what I was going for but it will move. I used all the springs supplied in the kit when I put it in. The...
I turned my screw out 4 turns and out in 4k gov springs in my m931a2. I haven't adjusted the main fuel nuts yet but on a 2 miles 10% grade pulling my 105a3 loaded it never gets above 1275 degrees. That's floored the whole way up the hill.
