It's fixed!! All I had to do was replace the priority valve and now the steering works flawlessly!

I replaced the priority valve today and it's obvious that the seal in the old valve is destroyed. I will test drive it this week and take pics of the old valve and see if the problem is fixed.

I have checked the entire system for leaks and the only one that I have found is the priority valve and I am going to replace that on monday or tuesday. I am not sure that it needs rebuilding its just that my air buzzer always turns one when I turn the wheel and it doesn't turn nice and smoothly...

Does anyone know where I can find one of those rebuild kits for the air assist steering cylinder?

Ok, that seems like a good place to start. As long as it's OK to use the JD stuff, I will have no problem finding coolant here. We have a whole bunch of that stuff on hand that we use in our tractors. Thanks for your help!

I heard the fan come on about the same time that the temp hit 200. The coolant is kind of a rusty brown in color. I am thinking that I might have to do a flush with some restore and try to clean out the cooling system eventually. What is the correct coolant? When I let it idle to cool down the...

Running Hot?? Today I took the a3 out for a 5 mile drive around the block at about 30mph and by the time I got home again the water temp was at 200* F and for it only being 75* outside that seems to be running a little hotter than it should. I can see coolant in the sightglass so the coolant...

wires on steering gearbox I was doing a walkaround my truck today to see how it was doing during its winter hibernation and I noticed that the front driver's side leaf spring had a fair amount of oil on it. I was able to trace the leak the the steering gearbox so I think that I just have to...

Another thing that I have noticed on my truck is that the valve vent on my rear axle leaks air whenever the CTIS begins to inflate. I think that the quad seals are probably to blame. Would this also be the cause of the flat tires that I get on the same rear axle of the truck?

How would I be able to tell if the steering assist regulator valve on my a3 is bad? I can't seem to find and type of air leaks in any of the steering components or hoses so I am beginning to think that it has to be something like the regulator causing my low air buzzer to sound when I make turns.

Special thanks to everyone who gave me the information on changing an a3 tire. Fixed one today and it went smoothly and had no leaks so now I think that I am out of dumb questions to ask on the subject. Thanks SS members

What do you guys recommend is the best way to get the beadlock out of the tire? Does it work best to just try and pry it out? I know that to put it back in requires a ratchet strap but I don't know how remove it properly.

I will make sure that I get a new o-ring but what kind of lube do you recommend on the bead and o-ring? I read somewhere to use sil-glyde paste from Napa.

I am hoping to break down some more tires on my a3 this winter and since I am going to be taking them apart anyway do you guys think that it would be a good idea to remove the beadlock and scoop out all of the slime tubeless tire sealant? In another post I made, SS members agreed that putting...

Is it possible that my primary air tank has hardly any pressure in it but my air guage says that the pressure is 120? I have noticed that whenever I shut off the truck and drain the moisture from the tanks, it seems like the primary tanks (the tank closest to the passenger side of the truck) has...

Just to clarify so that I don't mess up anything too badly, what hose should I disconnect to add Marvel Mystery Oil to? to hose with the red x, the orange x, or the blue x (pictured below)? I just want to make sure that I don't add it to the wrong hose and have it travel through the air lines...

OK, I just ran out to the truck because of about four times of reading the other post I realized exactly what was leaking. It is an obvious leak in the large hose that connects the two exhaust hoses of the drag link with the intake. I always knew that that hose had a leak but I never knew that...

Ok, I will try looking again for a leak tomorrow when I have someone turn the steering wheel while I look for leaks. Like AceHigh mentioned about the oil method, what would prevent the oil form traveling through the air lines to the air dryer and ctis manifold?

I still cannot get my steering to stop setting off the low air buzzer whenever I turn. I have purged the air tanks, tapped on the CTIS manifold, turned the steering air supply valve open and closed, and listened for any leaks but no matter what I do I still can't figure out why it makes my psi...
