    Here's my understanding of it..the M35 started out with the 6 cylinder gold comet gasoline engine. they were later upgraded to the ealry multifuel. Later on they were upgraded to the White/Hercules multi-fuels and designated as an A2 which was also upgraded to the newer style of composite lights...
