Just checked the Space weather website, and we will have multiple chances for viewing the ISS from the rally field starting on the 17th. Clinto does a good job putting on a top notch rally, and getting the ISS to fly overhead..........

Starting to load the Long Easy. It's amazing what a 20' bed on a 5 ton will hold. Look to be at Durham Town by noon Saturday.

Just run some chains out to the knuckles, and wrap them around a stick. it should work...............

I also have some gimpy toys. All the marine flares and smoke markers have expired, so I will let Gimpy safely dispose of them in an unproved manner.

Also depends which way I park it. If I park it N-S, then on one end, the sun sets an hour earlier.

El Centro CA? I have been there. Nice town out in the desert. If push comes to shove, you can always sleep under my M814. Plenty of room, and the truck is so long, you might want to wear two watches, as the ass end is in the central time zone.I am sure somebody has space for you to bunk in.

Down in GA, we don't even start the motors until we have 30 trucks signed up for the hardball convoy.

Just remember, I have to get Ferro's traveling road show in there also. I am sure we will have enough power/extension cords to make everybody happy. I normally bring 300 feet of cord, plus a handful of smaller ones.

Wouldn't it be faster to drive down from NC then run? I know MV's are slow, but.............

D town just called me. Seems like somebody has a yearly rental trailer on spot B12, and D town just realized it. So I have been moved to Spot B-7, which I gather is next to the MKT on the dirt road side. Not real thrilled, as I enjoyed the corner, and the lack of traffic. I guess everybody...

At least the Long Easy had the moxie to get that traveling flea circus the 90 miles to the Rally. And I got an amazing 2.2 MPG while towing the flea circus.

The Long Easy will be there again this year........
