Jon, I was able to borrow a dipstick out of another MK23, and the fluid level was topped and showed no evidence of having any water. I’m planning to do a complete drain and filter change just to make sure. thanks for the help guys. dirk

Thank you for the welcome Mullaney. I’ve been a member for awhile but haven’t posted much. My first MV was/is an M45a2, which led to an M923a2, which led to the MK23. Yup, I’ve got the sickness.

That’s a great question. The first place I looked was the vertical fill tube and I thought the dipstick was missing from the plug. Then I realized that was just the fill tube, and found the horizontal tube that exits behind the cab on drivers side. The tube is there but the dipstick is MIA.
