    Really, with the 8.3 conversions we discarded the IP filter as they were highly suceptable to plugging up from use of "Civilian" fuel; apparently the detergents containe in it would dissolve/destroy the media....I suppose its a hard idea to justify, but that's what was happening and why they...

    Not knowing your mechanical level or experience, let me caution you about the fuel filter: It's big, heavy, and when full of fuel awkward to install. There's a square cut o-ring that seal the canister to the base that will slip out of place and/or fall out. IT MUST HAVE A GOOD TIGHT SEAL else...
