    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

I don't know what the rating is on the Primary stock cleanable filter and thought the replacement throw away was 10 micron's. The stock seems like it would have been 30. If nothing else I just go with the 6 in the final and don't seem to have any trouble yet with my fuel systems.

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

If you want 2 micron then after market housing and filter if you can live with 6 micron and stock housing final filter housing just use the one for Detroit Diesel that fits our housing. NAPA # 33540. I like that I can step down from 10 to 6 micron with the stock housing starting at the primary...

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

I do not know if they would run better with a little advancement. They will run real good just getting a pyro and turning the fuel up. I have run the inner nut till it bottomed out turning up the fuel to it's real max. The smoke never cleared and there are less mosquito's around plus the...

What if what they call the timing button was just different thickness and would not affect timing per say. BUT! Would a thinner button allow the plunger to sit lower on the down stroke of the tappet but deliver more CC shot? Jason do you still have the button from the LDS head?

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

My thought on the injectors was maybe the LDS also runs more advanced timing. If the button is really a timing button then it would seem we could advance a degree or so. The buttons on the 90100A HH I have seen is a 03 and don't know what timing button is on a LDS head. Think there was a thread...

Then also the timing button on the bottom of the HH would be a way to make small timing change right?

Thanks for not rubbing my face in it Rusty for as many times I rode your azz and did not even at least pull your hair is was nice too see your post. I can use any excuse I want but I clearly did not think on the post about rotation. Stupid thing is I had a new Head right in my hand when I post...

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

The sleeve is the correct term not the control collar but some of you know me. Old and on drugs. Would be interesting to know when the fire really begins in the combustion cycle. Or how far up the cylinder is to set the fuel off. Looking from a gas engine stand point if the spark does not...

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

Fuel to the injectors is controlled by the control collar. The lower the collar rides the more the spill port stays open through the plunger stroke. The higher it rides the longer the spill port stays closed and more fuel is delivered. The plunger rotates. Sure seems like that would produce...

    LD/LDT vs LDS Hydraulic heads

Don't want to step on toes but the holes are the spill port. I don't think they would affect timing Rusty. It would allow the plunger to hold more fuel longer if the hole was higher. The control collar is what slides on the plunger and keeps the holes closed. When the control collar is down then...
