Yea I put the 1600's on mine to with ground down front drum. Then I got the MK rims and tires after I had a wheel bearing went bad on one side. I don't want to carrie a different rim and tire just for the front. I think my 920 with Deuce bed will be used for draging around my 6 ton military...
Now i'm not saying not too read the TM's heck if I would have read the Cat manual I would have known what the light was. I have not played with the 920 much after I got it and ordered the Cat manuel threw it in the shop and thats about as far as I rember. This was a good lessen for me.
Now back...
Yep and Yep. The truth, I don't think I will stop up shifting useing the inhibitor when unloaded.
The TM's also tell us to start the Deuce in first gear and anyone who know how too drive will tell you second low unloaded good ground is not a problem to start in. Heck I start my 816 at 36,000 lbs...
Yep I was wrong. There is no excuse for not reading the TM. I have had the 920 for years and never had it up to 2000rpm in 16th. I am on 53,s and took her for a ride and dang she was rolling faster than I like to drive these MV's. I like 45 to 50. OK as per the manual the red light is comming...
I just picked up my MK16 self loading trailer and the rims fit correct. If anyone cares the rims and tires off the MK16 and MK17 fit the bigger drums on the 920 without cutting the drum.

Front nuts are 4 7/8 and if you can't find flange gasket the 5 ton gasket can be made to work just have to line it up right and three holes will line up an just use ballpeen hammer and pop the rest of the new holes.
Soni thanks for the drawing of what has to be worked on the drum. I have a friend that is getting ready to do his and it will be helpfull to him. You seem like a real nice guy but you don't have to call me DEER.
Here is another one when you change out you drop box oil take out the T fitting not just the drain plug. That is more than just a t fitting it has a screen built in to it. Pull check and clean.
One more before you drive you rig check that the oil pump for the drop box was not like mine. The...
Soni think its great that you would like to share. In your new thread of tec tips I would like to add something for faster warm up on the Cat trans. When air pressure is up and trans is in netrual push in the shifter lock out button and this will help limber oil and raise oil 100* in ten min.
