Seats are regular from ebay or amazon. I will try to get a link and post. Rims are black rhino abrams 17" and tires are Toyo's 40's M/T. Not noisy at all for the kind of tire.
Edit: seats are from ebay, picture attached.
Installed a new soft top with now quarters given flag from William Welsh (blue ox) his work, as usual is outstanding. He will be re-stitching my previous top and does not want to charge me, even though i explain to him i beat the hell of my truck and use it everyday.
My 1st item took like 6 months years ago. After that 6 other items took 1 month the longest. And now i am waiting on another item and i am at 4 weeks and counting.
I once hsd a rim doing the same thing. It was so bad that it was scraping on the portal hub. Turned out the 2 faces were not seated and tighten correctly.
Went with 40's to reduce the 2" gap from the body lift between the wheels and fender lines. That part is taken care of only to look like a small farm tractor now. Have to test it for some days but 37's were better overall
On my last trip a couple of weeks ago, one of the AC hoses burned out with the exhaust and blew a hole. I took advantage of it to relocate the Red Dot AC condenser that was taking all my bed space. I am making all the lines new as the original ones are all cracked.
Of course i will, send me a PM with your email address, i will send it tomorrow when i get to the office.
I have not worked on the rear doors yet, just the front doors so far.
That's great. Sending you a pm with my email address. Thanks a lot.
I am working on a CAD file for aluminum doors, trying to cut them before the end of the year and if everything fits good i can share it as well.
Nice. Do you have CAD files or something like that that you might want to sale or share? Very interested in replicating with your permission of course. It looks outstanding. 👌
Also, registered my new to me trailer and 1151A1. The truck was a bit of an issue as there is another 1958 car registered in another state with the same VIN and a trailer in FL as well.
Test fit the doors i bought from Austin @beltfed, great guy to buy from.
I have to remove all the hardware and brackets, remake or buy some bracket parts and work on the doors for a smoother finish and a coupme of cracks. I have to figure out the gap on the rear doors and C pillar. Other than...
My generator pulley clutch just crapped out. Was trying to find out how to replace just the clutch but ended up replacing the whole thing. What a pain.
Replaced my power steering fluid as i got water into the system. Fort lauderdale, FL was floded and access to my house was floded to around 37" all other fluids were good but i replaced anyway.
