    The same setup is on HMMWVs and they seem to work just fine.

    Just remove the hose between the hydroboost and power steering box and add the winch to the circuit. The only other thing I may do is add a cooler later but right now all is well.

    Runs off of the power steering pump. Makes full power when the engine is at idle...

    Here's a couple of pics of my winch. My buddy Joe and his guys modified the front brush guard slightly and we ended up getting a 12,000 pound Mile Marker hydraulic HMMWV winch to work perfectly on my M1031.
