    Thanks again Truck1. I'm definitely going to try to get those from HF. That's a pretty stiff cable and there's not much room on the diameter of the spool before it jams up on the bars. P.S. it's 50* today and raining like a son of a.... heres the picture I promised

    I got my truck stuck in a mud hole last weekend and winched out while under power. Tore up my lawn, but the Harbor Freight winch saved me from having to call my Pinzgauer buddy. I guess some of them work and some don't. Not the best situation with 3 and a half tons of metal stuck somewhere...

    Beautiful welds and a very slick setup! I put that same winch on the front of my truck. So far it's worked well. I left mine exposed because if you are pulling anything off of straight away the cable can get hopelessly jammed up on one side of the spool. I hope this isn't what people mean by...
