There is no set no load adjustment. When we would shut a gen set down, we never moved any setting. Most of the time when you started a set, the hertz came up a tad high, but after the set warmed up, and our load came on, it was about normal. Also, we never depended on anything being "normal"...
The only way to know if its working is to jack up the engine speed. Then follow KLOPPK's instructions. Use a multi-meter that measures hertz. Stick the leads into the 110 volt outlet, of go to the output terminals. Too easy!
