    I use pipe gasket from work. Size is almost perfect. Here is some photo's This material is viton and is resistant to chemicals, heat, and oils. You can pour 78% sulfuric acid on this rubber no problem.

    Picture of the cork wedge. I agree cork seems like the cheap solution. Wedges made out of rubber (ie EPDM, Viton, etc..) should out last cork.

    pretty straight foward fix. Pull the hubs replaces the seals, new cork, pack the bearing, and put it all back together. Hardest part is taking off the wheels and putting them back on. No stupid boot like the front, I hate that boot design.
